I am working on a Kinect application. I am planning to make the application executable, then executable will be installed on "Windows Single Board Computer". Currently I'm running the application on an i7 desktop tower with 3.4 GHz and 8 GB memory.
I have seen the system requirements for the Connect SDK: I think these specs are only developing but when I am only running executable, what will be the specs?
I saw this question,
To modify, I'm going to the Kinect program on my desktop tower. Make the application executable. Then install the app on "Windows Single Board Computers" and then join this new board and run the app. What specs do I need for "Windows Single Board Computer"?
Thanks in advance. I have made a project called Virtual Dressing Room which involves some animation with the kinetic data only. Kinect needs just 4 GB of RAM to run data and play with it 1.9 GHz CPU. But when it is mixed with XANA animations then more RAM is needed like 6 GB above. So it depends on your application. If you just play with Kinetic and 2D animations then 4GB RAM is fine. Since you are new to SOF I suggest that this answer may be acceptable, then mark it. So you have better responses to your future questions.
