You get general idea. Not sure that BoofCV is the best option here, but it seems that it should be straightforward to use, but then I do not know anything about it. I have seen some examples and although, on my head (which is not hard to do any day) before, I thought I would ask if there is any information there.
I am taking a class on Knowledge based Eligence Raven Progressive Matrix issues and will use strictly visual based images instead of text files with the final work attributes. We are not being classified on the basis of this view because we have a few weeks to work on this part of the project and we are encouraged to share this information. What I essentially want to do Detects Shapes? Change them into 2D geometry) and then make some assumptions about certain features like size, fill, appointment etc., create a text file with these attributes, and then using it, through my existing code To send it out, which I wrote for my other projects, solutions to problems.
Any suggestions ????
In many ways, you can do this in a way to find out the contour of the shape, after that Should fit on a polygon or oval. If you git it for a polygon and 4 sides with approximately equal length then this is a square. Contour can be found with binary blobs (my recommendation for the above images) or knowledgeable edge.
