How to use Prettify with Pelican? -

I want to use default instead of highlighting the default code on a Pelicans site. I have disabled default code highlighting by specifying MD_EXTENSIONS manually pelicanconf.py and excluding the codehilite extension. I have successfully added the prettify to the template.

Missing bits:

The need to rush or & lt; Pre & gt; The tag is explained as the attribute class = "prettyprint" . How can I empower Pelicans to include this feature by default?
