ios7 - iOS: How to get Currentlocation information with GPRS not from GPS? -

I am implementing a GeoFence related function where the app notifies when the user has entered / exited the specified location. The problem is, when I'm using Location Manager services it is using the battery. Can someone suggest me how to get current location updates using GPRS?
