Just use and hide the main SWF object but activating the functionality with another regular button. There is a function to update the text to be sent to the clipboard, so I think there should be a function to emulate the "click" event?

EDIT: Anyone who wants to answer this. Instead use works and is very easy to customize visually. Finally I used another clipboard library which worked and worked. Out of the box was customizable.
